▫️Proven Collaborator
▫️Financial Acumen
▫️Community-driven Leadership
▫️People-centered Advocate
A dedicated community advocate who knows how government works and can get things done.
As a mother of young children, I became involved in the community in a typical way—volunteering at my daughters’ school, High Point Elementary, and joining the PTO.
My community involvement grew, leading me to chair the Issue 12 income tax reform ballot initiative in 2019. This effort, aimed at strengthening Gahanna’s financial foundation, passed with over 81% voter support and sparked my deeper engagement in local government. In 2020, I joined our city government, heading the city of Gahanna’s marketing and communications team during the challenging COVID-19 pandemic. During the course of those years, I collaborated with every city department, gaining a comprehensive understanding of their operations, challenges and value in our community.
In 2022, I embraced a unique opportunity to join The Arlington Group, a successful wealth management team, as a relationship-focused financial advisor. I love helping people achieve their financial goals and live the lives they envision. While I’m passionate about my career, my commitment to positively impacting this community remains unwavering.
Currently, I serve as Treasurer of the Gahanna Area Chamber of Commerce, Chair of the Civil Service Commission, a member of the Gahanna YMCA Consulting Board, a board member of The Gahanna Sanctuary, and an Executive Committee member for the Columbus Golf Classic with the American Cancer Society. These roles have been fulfilling and have also given me insight into the broader needs of our city, strengthening my resolve to make a greater impact.
Running for Gahanna City Council is the next step in my journey. I believe my ideas and insights, combined with my relational and fiscal skills, make me well-suited to represent my friends and neighbors in ward 4.
I’ve thought deeply about how to best serve our community. In a time of unprecedented political polarity, I’ve chosen to run without party affiliation—free from direct party influence. My focus is solely on what’s best for Gahanna and its wonderfully diverse residents. I’m committed to being a collaborative, pragmatic council member who works tirelessly to achieve our shared goals and improve the lives of all who call Gahanna home.
I’m a proud central Ohio native, raised in Upper Arlington and a graduate of Capital University. In 2013, my husband, JP, and I moved to Gahanna with our two young daughters. JP is a Gahanna Lincoln High School graduate, and his parents have called Gahanna home since 1994. We knew we wanted to raise our daughters, Kendall and Lizzie, in his hometown. Why Gahanna? The reasons are many: the diversity of its residents, proximity to downtown Columbus, beautiful parks and trails, and an excellent public school system.
